Device Management Consultant (SAP IS-U / S/4 Utilities)

We are seeking an experienced Device Management Consultant with strong expertise in SAP IS-U / S/4 Utilities to join our project in Dresden. The role focuses on consulting, customizing, and implementing processes in the field of device and point of delivery management within the German energy market., * Provide consulting and customizing support in device management, point of delivery management, installation/removal, and replacement processes.

• Conduct and support fit-to-standard workshops for device management in market roles (Grid, MOS).
• Implement regulatory requirements in the German energy market (e.g., WiM processes, format changes 2025/2026).
• Ensure seamless integration with EDM systems (e.g., Robotron) and MaKo-Cloud (SAP Cloud for Market Communication).
• Support and perform migration tests (device master data, transaction data).
• Deliver knowledge transfer and training to the project team.
• Collaborate closely with stakeholders across grid, metering, and billing departments.

Do you have experience in SAP S/4HANA?, * Proven expertise in SAP IS-U / S/4 Utilities Device Management.

• Strong knowledge of electricity/gas market processes (GPKE, WiM, MPES, MaKo-Cloud).
• Experience in data migration (device and measurement data) and interface integration.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements of the German energy market., * Customizing knowledge in IS-U Device Management.
• Hands-on experience with S/4HANA Utilities (ideally in device management).
• Exposure to Fiori apps for device management is a plus.

Soft Skills

• Strong communication skills and ability to engage with business departments (grid, metering, billing).
• Independent, structured, and proactive way of working.
• Experience in transformation projects and workshops.

Language Requirements

• German: Fluent (Mandatory)
• English: Good (Advantage)
