Frontend Developer

You will be delivering user-friendly web applications to improve BASF´s services towards our customers. Your team develops applications which are used in a shared way by both BASF and our external customers.

• You will be working in agile and self-organized way. You not only consider development of new applications but also operations and maintenance as a valuable part of your daily work.
• You will write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while adhering to industry best practices and coding standards.
• You are part of a dedicated team, which has built itself a platform to efficiently develop, maintain and enhance their delivered applications. Part of your daily job will be to drive the future development and innovation of this platform with regards to user´s requirement according to modern.

• Angular TypeScript JavaScript HTML5

Professional knowledge in Angular (2+) and Angular Material, with a solid understanding of component-based architecture.

• Professional knowledge in TypeScript, JavaScript, NGRX
• Professional knowledge in HTML5, CSS3, SCSS, REST API (JSON)
• Professional knowledge in the development of complex web-based applications
• Knowledge of agile methodology (Scrum, Kanban)
• Experience working in an Agile environment, with familiarity with Scrum or Kanban methodologies
• Experience in Angular unit and integration testing using Angular core testing utilities and Jest is highly beneficial
• Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to facilitate effective collaboration within the team
• Knowledge about responsive design patterns is beneficial
• Understanding of web performance optimization techniques is beneficial
