Job description
The SharePoint Developer role, which reports to the Senior Manager, Collaboration, is responsible for SharePoint Online activities related to supporting users day-to-day, enhancing existing custom SharePoint workflows and forms, building new SharePoint applications using out-of-box/no-code solutions as well as code-based solutions using best practices, migrating content using Sharegate, and performing break-fix tasks for SharePoint applications., * Building new solutions in SharePoint Online based on business requirements, including Power Automate, Power Apps, REACT, SPFx and other custom code solutions
- Troubleshooting and resolving issues related to existing workflows and forms in SharePoint Online, including issues related to jQuery, REACT, and SPFx custom code
- Supporting end users with the greater Office 365 experience such as Office 365 Groups and Teams
- Creating, modifying, executing, and scheduling PowerShell scripts
- Overseeing integration technologies such as Informatica/SharePoint connectors
- Troubleshooting break-fix tasks in workflows, forms, and other code customizations in a timely manner
- Developing and supporting out-of-box functions on Sites including lists, libraries, alerts, permissions, navigation, web parts, pages, recycle bin, and other out-of-box tools
- Providing end users with excellent support service, daily
- Working on support tickets through ServiceNow in a timely manner, adhering to strict timelines and strict ITIL processes
- Self-organizing and able to lead and work in Agile development initiatives, using Agile practices
- Executing Sharegate migrations for sites or lists/libraries, as needed
- Understanding the overall landscape and reviewing sites to ensure that they fit into the overall taxonomy
- Communicating clearly, concisely, and effectively with colleagues, including leadership level colleagues, and using non-technical language to collaborate
Requirements

Years of Related Experience (Min.): 7+ years SharePoint Online development

Support: previous experience supporting global clients in a SharePoint environment

Language: fluent English is essential, ability to collaborate using non-technical communication clearly and concisely

Excellent working knowledge of the Office 365 technology stack - exposure to and experience with the features and functionality

Extensive hands-on experience with SharePoint Online development

Ability to build new SharePoint Online solutions which contain REACT, SPFx, and jQuery code

Ability to enhance and/or fix existing SharePoint Online solutions which contain REACT, SPFx and jQuery code

PowerShell scripting and scheduling (Informatica/SharePoint connector is a plus)

Strictly adhering to processes, procedures and governance during support and development activities

ITIL skills & Agile skills

Strong written and verbal communication skills, including ability to communicate with top leadership in a clear, concise, non-technical manner
