Job description
Design and build the core computation engine that powers our business planning platform.

Collaborate with frontend engineers, product managers, and designers to define, develop, and deliver features that bring value to users.

Optimize performance and scalability of systems processing large-scale data in real time.

Continuously monitor and improve the reliability, maintainability, and test coverage of backend services.

Contribute to technical architecture and decision-making across the backend stack.

Champion clean code, great documentation, and modern engineering best practices. Current Projects You could Work On : Computation Engine: Scaling and optimizing our formula engine to support increasingly complex use cases and larger datasets. Performance Optimization: Profiling and improving the speed of real-time queries and calculations. Infrastructure Improvements: Evolving our backend platform for reliability, observability, and developer efficiency. Cross-Team Collaboration: Working closely with frontend teams to ensure smooth API integration and a great user experience. Technical Challenges:

Requirements
We value strong software engineering skills and a problem-solving mindset. You thrive on turning complex requirements into elegant, maintainable solutions and are eager to deliver value to end users. In any case, you have:
- Experience working as a software engineer on production systems.
- Proven ability to design object-oriented software with languages such as C#, Java, C++, Golang, Rust, Python, or Ruby.
- A collaborative mindset and strong communication skills.
- A desire to deeply understand how the product works and the value it brings to users.
- A good dose of humility and the willingness to grow (no matter your seniority!).
- A fluent level in English (French is not required).
