Join a dynamic software development team and play a key role in shaping innovative tools that support core airline operations! We are looking for an Information Analyst for the BAR team. A software development team responsible for the Business Rule Engine (BRE), the Generic Admin tool (GAT), and the Resource Store. What will you do?

In this position you will be part of the BAR product team, positioned at the heart of Air France - KLM's Digital domain, in Digital Development. Our multi-disciplinary team develops and maintains three strategic applications:

  • Business Rule Engine: A vital tool that automates and enforces business logic by dynamically applying rules, ensuring operational consistency and flexibility.
  • Generic Admin Tool: A centralized data storage system for managing both shared and airline-specific reference data, facilitating seamless administration across AFKL.
  • Resource Store: A RESTful service enabling the storage and retrieval of diverse client data as resources, supporting multiple business processes.

As our Information Analyst, you activities will include:

  • Liaise with business stakeholders and IT specialists to gather, analyze, and document requirements.
  • Translate business needs into detailed techincal specifications and user stories for our development team.
  • Map and model processes, data flows, and system interactions, ensuring optimal integration between systems.
  • Support the design and evolution of our Business Rule Engine, Admin Tool, and Resource Store, ensuring they meet current and future needs.
  • Collaborate with the developers, analysts, scrum master, and the product owner throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Validate requirements, and help resolve ambiguities and conflicting needs.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Software development?, Do you have a Master's degree?, * Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or other relevant field.

  • Proven experience as an Information Analyst, Business Analyst, IT Architect, or similar role in a software development setting.
  • Strong conceptual understanding of IT landscapes.
  • Experience in creating flow diagrams, request/response models, sequence diagrams, and information models.
  • Experience with visual modeling. Working with Enterpise Architect is a plus.
  • Experience with business rule/process modeling. Working with Drools is a plus.
  • Experience with Postgres or SQL.
  • Excellent communication skills in English (verbal and written).
