Job description
As a senior Solution Architect for IAM you are part of a team responsible for the innovation of solutions and services in the IAM domain. The team is owning the full technical and detailed architecture for solutions and services delivered in the domain. In your role you are responsible for bringing the full IAM perspective into these solutions and services. You are responsible for designing and delivering fully automated and integrated End-to-End solutions that enable the business to take ownership in securing their information and IT. Currently, IAM is working on the implementation of an integrated and hybrid IAM platform based on SailPoint IdentityIQ, Okta, CyberArk, Conjur, Alero, Thales, KeyFactor, some legacy directories such as NetIQ eDIR, RHDS and AD and more.
As a senior Solution Architect you are expected to have a broad understanding of IAM, deep understanding of the role of mentioned different domains within IAM and its relations to other parts of the business, and its relation with information and IT security in general. In your role, you will provide support and guidance to teams within and outside the ART with implementing best practices for the domain further securing ASML's End-to-End solutions.
This role requires strong consultancy and communication skills. No hands-on development work is required but a good understanding of Agile, DevOps, CI/CD/CT based automation and standardization is.
A Solution Architect works basically under the technical supervision of the System Architect who's overseeing the enterprise and company-wide EPICs with an impact on IAM . Next to that, the Solution Architect is closely working with architects in and outside the ART and with Product Owners, the Scrum Masters and the senior Developers/Architects in the ART. And last but not least, the Solution Architect works with a lot of stakeholders from the business and IT.
Main responsibilities
- Identify functional and non-functional requirements for the IAM standard processes by carrying out interviews with business stakeholders and IT
- Create functional and technical designs for epics and features in line with the IAM architectural principles, the company IAM strategy and the standard IAM processes
- Coordinate and validate the realization of designed capabilities/functionalities according to the specifications
- Contribute to the release process by defining MVP's for the designed solutions in close collaboration with development teams
- Validate solution designs created by peers against the IAM solution architecture
- Document the "as-is" and "to-be" architecture for the proposed solutions, determine the business value, identify risks and possible mitigating actions in order to support product and business owners in the decision making process
- Provide high level estimation budget for the implementation of the designed solutions
- Coordinate user acceptance tests with business.
- Ensure knowledge handover towards Operations
- Discuss improvements and new ideas with the business key users and IT Architects.
- Ensure that new features of the IAM solutions are aligned and agreed with other IAM Architect
- Contribute to feasibility studies and technology selection process
- Timely and clear communication, share information and knowledge
- Share responsibility and leverage expertise of others

Requirements
Do you have experience in System security?, Do you have a Master's degree?, * Master degree or Bachelor degree in a technical area, computer science. Security knowledge strong preconditions;
- Valid industry certifications such as the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information System Manager (CISM), Cloud Computing Security Knowledge (CCSK) and more are a plus;
- Min 10 years professional experience with Identity & Access Management;
- Thorough knowledge of and experience with designing architecture for IAM processes;
- Experience in collecting information through research and interviews;
- Experience with Agile methodology
- Able to summarize and communicate technical data to a non-technical audience;
- Sound understanding of security technologies, best practices, and security policy frameworks;
- Role-Based access control (RBAC) experience, * Excellent English communication and presentation skills. Command of the Dutch language is a plus;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
- Highly-motivated, with a strong work ethic and able to work effectively under minimal supervision.

- Act as a role model, offer support and coaching/mentoring to other members of the IAM team
