Job description
As our Lead Fullstack Engineer, you'll be responsible for our platform. You'll take ownership of our platform after its initial launch (developed by an agency) and shape it into a long-term, scalable product. From architecture and code reviews to building intuitive, mobile-first experiences, you'll be at the center of how patients interact with Wellis.
This role is ideal if you're ~5 years into your career, eager to step into a lead position, and excited about building technology that makes healthcare more human and connected.
Responsibilities

Lead the frontend development of the Wellis platform.

Build and improve user journeys across website and app with a mobile-first mindset.

Take over the codebase from an agency and make it your own.

Work closely with Product, Design, and Backend on a seamless multi-channel experience.

Mentor intern engineers and help shape the growing tech team.

Ensure scalability, performance, and security through technical best practices.

Contribute ideas for the new Wellis app, including integration with external healthcare apps and devices.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Scalability?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, * ~5+ years of frontend engineering experience in product-driven environments.
- Strong knowledge of React, API-first integrations (REST/GraphQL), and modern frontend practices.
- Strong experience in modern development pratcises . GitHub , Gitflow , Ci/CD
- Wide exposure to multiple modern proigramming languages ( PolyGlot )
- Strong cloud native and architecture experience ( GCP,Aws,Azure,Vercel etc )
- Exposure to AI assisted code development
- Familiarity with intergations with a variety of SaaS and IPaS plartforms
- A true team player: collaborative, adaptable, and empowering others.
- Excited to grow into a leadership role without needing a big hierarchy.
- Able to work in our office in Rotterdam 1-2 days a week.
