Job description
This is a Hybrid Home/Office-based role reporting into the Head of Parking Operations. The role will be responsible for day to day management of the field based and office based Regional Support Teams and in conjunction with the Regional Operations Managers, ensuring that all Operatives are managed effectively, working as required and all training is carried out in line with company policy. In addition to managing the team the Manager will also carry out Regional Support duties., * To manage the Regional Support team and ensure tasks are completed in line with expectations set by the Head of Parking Operations
- To act as duty operations manager during weekend periods
- To prioritise and encourage operative performance at weekends maintaining the expected PCN production levels.
- To provide continued support to Operatives, Regional Supports, Supervisors and Regional Operations Managers
- To manage Regional Supports Holiday entitlement, arranging cover where necessary.
- Coordinate and arrange operative training/retraining where necessary, collating feedback from the Regional Supervisors and supports
- To ensure all exit interviews are carried out and documented correctly for review by HR and HOD.
- To Coordinate welfare calls to entire patroller population, Documenting these and ensuring appropriate follow up action is taken to action points raised
- To Coordinate operative recruitment process, ensuring adequate interview capability is in situ.
- To ensure operative out of hours support is covered and maintained
- To Ensure all operative spot check and review processes are completed and documented correctly.
- To monitor operative payroll process, ensuring Parking Ops process errors do not exceed 2%
- To assist in the identification and management of under performing operatives.
- Conduct Operative interviews when necessary
- To ensure Virtual Training platform is utilised correctly and all department relevant modules are completed
- To carry out Regional Support duties when required, including:
- GPS checks for wardens in team
- To ensure warden hours are inputted into payroll system on a daily basis (to be completed by Monday at 10am)
- To be internal point of contact between wardens and Head Office functions
- Allocation of sites to wardens
- Monitoring wardens' hours v rota's
- Conduct spot check requests with wardens
- Review expenses for region and approve/decline
- Review cancellations for regions and distribute to those issuing incorrect charges with guidance
- Compile and check new warden starter packs for region
- Provide iTicket support and guidance
- Co-ordinate call outs for region
- Escalate incidents/emergencies to HR/Area Manager
- Key link with UKPC internal department
Requirements
Do you have experience in Time management?, * Experience of working within a fast-paced environment with a desire to exceed expectations
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience Managing a team (Preferred but not essential)
- Be able to deal with verbal and written instructions.
- Competent in Microsoft office applications
- Experience coordinating field-based personnel
- Interpret and respond clearly and effectively to spoken requests over the phone or in writing
- Time management skills, with the ability to review, organise and prioritise
