Applications Technical Specialist

We're looking for a Technical Specialist to join our Engineering and Safety scrum team within the Asset Management value stream, responsible for maintaining and evolving a suite of commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) applications that support critical engineering and safety processes across SSE Thermal's operational fleet. You'll be part of a multidisciplinary Agile team delivering upgrades, enhancements, and support in a DevSecOps environment. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys improving operational software, solving problems collaboratively, and working with a modern cloud technology stack. Experience in an asset-intensive or energy sector environment is desirable.
