As an Infrastructure Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting customer systems via the telephone, email and remote connection.
Responding to customer and operational requirements, you'll troubleshoot queries and provide valuable support to any incoming issues, escalating anything that proves very difficult to our 3rd line support. You'll create detailed documentation for both internal and customer systems and maintain an accurate record of your work and system changes.
Additionally, you will build and maintain LAN and private cloud servers and ensure that all work is completed in a timely manner.
As part of your role, you will occasionally be required to travel to customer sites and perform on-site technical support tasks.
Requirements
Do you have a valid Driving Licence license?, Do you have experience in IT support?, · At least three years' experience gained in an IT support role
· A full driving licence and access to your own vehicle
· Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
· Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
· Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
· Solid experience of installing and configuring firewalls, network switches, desktop computers, laptops, server hardware and storage devices
· A good working knowledge of IP networking, Remote Desktop Services, Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and IIS.
· Good Understanding of Microsoft 365
· You must have good communication skills along with good troubleshooting skills with a proactive and customer-focused approach.
Desirable Skills:
· Experience with Microsoft Azure
· MS technical certification, such as AZ-900, AZ-104 or something similar.
· Hyper-V or Other Hypervisor experience.
· Experience supporting handhelds
· Experience working with Mac, iOS, Android and Linux., * IT support: 3 years (required)

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £35,000.00-£42,500.00 per year
