Job description
A hands-on Infrastructure Engineer is required to join a growing team, working 85% onsite and 15% on client sites to support installs, maintenance, and customer solutions. This role suits someone who enjoys problem-solving, working with modern infrastructure tools, and being part of a front-facing technical team., * Build, deploy, and manage virtualisation environments (Proxmox or similar).
- Maintain servers and networking infrastructure.
- Automate deployments using Infrastructure as Code (e.g. Terraform, Ansible).
- Troubleshoot performance, connectivity, and virtualisation issues.
- Support client installations and provide excellent on-site service.
- Monitor and optimise system performance, uptime, and stability.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Virtualization?, Essential Skills & Experience:
- Experience with Proxmox or similar virtualisation technologies.
- Strong Linux administration skills (Ubuntu/Debian).
- Good networking knowledge (VPNs, VLANs, firewalls).
- Interest or background in AI, crypto, or data centres.
- Confident communicator with a customer-first mindset.
Desirable Skills:
- Automation tools (Terraform, Ansible).
- Containerisation (Docker/Kubernetes).
- Basic scripting knowledge (Python, Bash).
