Job description
Responsible for the architectural design and development of software applications, ensuring alignment with business/customer goals.
To lead the design, development, and implementation of software development programmes, ensuring they meet business requirements and are scalable, maintainable, and reliable., * Lead the architectural design of software applications
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical requirements
- Oversee the development of application solutions
- Ensure adherence to best practices
- Mentor and guide team members
- Ensure applications are scalable, maintainable, and secure
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies
- Provide technical direction to the development team including ensuring they are developed in accordance with architectural standards
- Develop and maintain architectural documentation
- Ensure applications meet performance, reliability and governance standards
Requirements
Do you have experience in Software development?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, related field or industry qualifications (advantageous but not necessary)
- Demonstrable experience in application architecture
- Proficiency in multiple programming languages
- Strong understanding of software development methodologies and cloud technologies
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross functional teams
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Must be able to obtain the Government and/or Police Security levels required in order to meet the operational requirements of the role (no caveats) and as per the requirements stipulated in relevant customer contracts.
Benefits & conditions
Salary Package: £80,000 - £90,000 plus large company benefits, a broad flexible benefits scheme, and 2 paid-for volunteering days a year Hours: 9.00 am - 5.30 pm Monday - Friday Interview Process: 2-stage process
