We are seeking a passionate and forward-thinking RMMS Manager to take ownership of the Brightly Confirm asset management system for the M25 Strategic Road Network. As RMMS Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operation of our asset management system, supporting routine maintenance, asset tracking, and driving operational efficiency. You'll collaborate closely with IT specialists, highways maintenance teams, and external stakeholders to optimise system performance and resolve challenges with confidence.

  • User Support & Training: Provide technical support and training to system users, including maintenance teams, planners, data analysts, and management.
  • Data Management: Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and compliance within the system, maintaining records of assets, inspections, work orders, and maintenance works delivered.
  • Configuration & Customisation: Tailor system settings, workflows, and reporting structures to align with operational requirements.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement system and data enhancements to maximise efficiency in maintenance planning and asset management.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal teams, contractors, and National Highways to ensure system alignment with strategic objectives.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a System Administrator, Analyst, Engineer, or in a similar role managing Brightly Confirm or equivalent Asset Management or Routine Maintenance Management systems.
  • Strong understanding of highways maintenance operations and asset management principles.
  • Proficiency in SQL, database management, and system configurations.
  • Experience with GIS mapping tools, APIs, and system integrations.
  • Ability to analyse data, generate reports, and optimise system workflows.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to troubleshooting.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Understanding of IT security, data protection, and compliance frameworks.
