I am searching for an experienced and enthusiastic PHP Developer<\/strong> for an exciting business based in South Devon.\n\nYou will ideally be a Middleweight<\/strong> to Senior Developer<\/strong> experienced in developing bespoke software solutions from stakeholder driven business requirements.<\/p>\r\n, We are looking to speak with collaborative, hands-on PHP Developers who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.<\/p>\r\n You MUST value clean code, modern development practices, and believe in sharing knowledge with others.\n\nYou will be confident in leading discussions with technical and non-technical stakeholders, designing solutions to solve key business challenges.<\/p>\r\n Required Skills<\/strong><\/p>\r\n \r\n

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.<\/li>\r\n
• 3 to 4 years minimum commercial PHP development experience.<\/li>\r\n
• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming and SOLID principles.<\/li>\r\n
• Solid knowledge of secure coding practices (e.g.\n\nOWASP).<\/li>\r\n
• Experience with modern PHP frameworks (preferably Laravel or Symfony).<\/li>\r\n
• Familiarity with relational databases (MySQL) and writing performant queries.<\/li>\r\n
• Comfortable working with Git, Composer and modern development workflows.<\/li>\r\n
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n Nice to Have Skills <\/strong><\/p>\r\n, o Experience with Docker and containerised development environments.<\/li>\r\n

The role is offered on a hybrid working basis, 3 days<\/strong> per week in the office and 2 days<\/strong> per week working from home.\n\n

The office is based near to Newton Abbot<\/strong>, Chudleigh<\/strong>, Ashburton<\/strong> and Buckfastleigh<\/strong> - its easily accessible from the A38<\/strong>.<\/p>\r\n

To be considered for the role you will need to be located within a commutable distance of the office, or you will be able to relocate to the area at short notice.<\/p>\r\n

In this role you will be responsible for: -<\/p>\r\n \r\n

• Developing bespoke software and middleware solutions to support and help grow business operations.<\/li>\r\n
• Deliver high-quality, secure code using modern and best practice approaches.<\/li>\r\n
• Collaborating with stakeholders to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions.<\/li>\r\n
• Troubleshooting and resolving issues across development environments.<\/li>\r\n
