IT Application engineer

• Manage software and service relationships and associated contracts with major vendors.
• Study and master the Algolia user tech stack, inside and outside of IT, including both fine-level details and overarching strategic goals.
• Administrate the IS and IAM tech stack with specialization in Okta, Gsuite, Atlassian, Obsidian and Slack.
• Coordinate across Algolia teams to design and manage effective and efficient internal SaaS deployments.
• Ally with Information Security and Infrastructure teams to maintain the safety of our people and products.
• Create documentation to enable end users to interact with our hardware and software systems.
• Engage in the development of less experienced engineers.

• 7+ years of technical support experience.
• 7+ years managing IT environments.
• A Masters in Computer Science or its equivalent.
• Expertise with macOS and Windows as well as familiarity with Linux.
• Experience at our current stage and beyond ($50-200M ARR range, high growth, lots of change and building internal infrastructure)

Compensation : The annual base salary compensation range for this role reflects US market pay data within this location. The exact compensation offered for this role may vary depending on specific location and job-related knowledge, technical skills, and experience; and is only one part of our Total Rewards philosophy to compensate and recognize employees for their work. We are looking for a Senior IT Application engineer for a remote position in the United States. This is a succession position that will be split 70 / 30 in application management and project management. This position may have up to 10% travel.
