Job description
The Solutions Architect is a commercially driven and technical expert with a track record in Technical Consulting and Pre-Sales in AEC or MFG markets. This role supports Account Managers and Sales professionals to grow revenue and margin from a territory or portfolio, and delivers paid consulting engagements around BIM, cloud, and related process and technology implementation. The Solutions Architect builds a position of trusted advisor through delivery and expertise., * Drive discovery meetings, workflow reviews, business process reviews and workshops with customers to uncover Graitec opportunities.
- Collaborate with sales teams to help achieve growth targets on new business from new and existing customers.
- Build proposals for software, services, and projects; advise customers on software choices, integrations, and platform considerations.
- Support sales staff during the pre-sales stage of negotiations.
Consulting

Manage project delivery from pre-sales handover to closeout.

Create scoping documents with timelines, roles, and responsibilities; prepare all delivery documentation in line with Graitec standards.

Assess risks and ensure timely, on-budget delivery; keep customers informed of progress; leverage relationships for follow-on opportunities. General Company Duties

Assist Customer Acquisition and Marketing with business development matters.

Provide regular feedback to R&D on Graitec products; maintain data accuracy and traceability.

Support the team to meet or exceed new business ACV margin targets (monthly, quarterly, yearly).

Customer referrals, testimonials, and case studies validated by Marketing; data transparency on activity.
Requirements

Extensive experience in BIM, Autodesk AEC / ACS or MFG products; strong understanding of construction or manufacturing industries.

4+ years of presales experience for complex software, SaaS, and services solutions in CAD, AEC, or MFG markets.

Experience driving workshops or discovery meetings to identify opportunities with existing accounts.

Ability to support multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment; technically expert with commercial mindset.

Autonomous, strategic thinker, and collaborative with Sales or Professional Services teams.

Customer-oriented with ability to influence at all levels; willing to travel; professional and reliable with strong judgment.
