Job description

You'll join one other Motion Designer to form a focused motion/3D duo within the wider team. Headed up by Luke and Jody, the team is currently made up of two Producers, six Designers, two Motion Designers, and a Team Assistant., The team is technically curious, frequently sketching in code, AI and 3D so you'll be collaborating with people who understand how you work. As well as experimenting with the team, you will be responsible for developing ideas into living working systems and producing the necessary assets.

The Work

Systems, not just content.

While we produce high-end motion pieces, our primary focus is behaviour. We define how a brand moves. You'll build the logic, kinetic rules and generative tools that allow an identity to breathe.

  • R&D: Prototyping visual behaviours using code, nodes or new software.
  • Behavioural Motion: Creating generative/procedural motion languages that adapt and vary, rather than relying on fixed timelines.
  • Craft: Producing photorealistic renders and complex motion pieces with strong attention to detail and finish.

Most of this sits within brand identity work - helping a brand live in motion, not just appear in a static guideline.

The Toolkit

Core: Fluency in Cinema 4D, Redshift/Octane and After Effects.

Expansion: Experience with Python, Processing or node-based environments (Houdini / TouchDesigner / Cavalry) is a major advantage.

Real-time: Familiarity with Unreal or Unity is a distinct plus.

Requirements

We're looking for a designer who's fluent in visual communication and technology. Someone with a sharp eye for composition, light and texture, and who uses motion, 3D and code as creative mediums rather than production steps.

Benefits & conditions

  • Full-time, permanent
  • London studio (Hybrid - 3 days in the studio, 2 days remote)
  • Salary depending on experience
  • 20 days holiday + Christmas closure + Bank Holidays
  • Medicash and Cycle-to-work scheme, pension, and lunches provided in-studio by chef Musa

You'll need to be eligible to work in the UK.
