You support the migration of legacy systems to modern platforms by developing adapter solutions in Java in a mainframe-based environment.
Working in a team, you will be responsible for monitoring operations and initiating measures in the event of disruptions
Requirements
You have a degree in (business) informatics or comparable successfully completed training (e.g. in IT).
You have several years of experience and in-depth knowledge of development in the IBM mainframe environment
(Assembler, JCL, C, CICS, VSAM).
You have knowledge and initial experience in developing with modern methods and tools for backend development in the Java environment
You are characterized by a calm and structured way of working and do not lose this even in demanding operational situations
You have very good analytical skills and conceptual skills
