Embedded Development Engineer - Autonomous Driving System Tasks and qualifications: You create the concepts for different tasks in the field of autonomous vehicles, work in an intercultural agile development team and participate in publicly funded research projects They coordinate the concepts with international client development locations and with external international suppliers You are responsible for the commissioning of components with Micoautobox and Autera using Matlab/Simulink, RTMAPS and ROS and the installation space investigations in the CAD system Unigraphics They specify the cable sets and are an essential part of the requirements engineering process You build and test systems for autonomous vehicles, put them into operation and derive optimization measures
Requirements
You have a degree in electrical engineering / technical computer science, robotics, mechatronics or a comparable course You have relevant experience with environmental sensors and automatically driving vehicles in the outdoor area (lidar, camera, etc.) and sensor data fusion You can draw on a wide range of experience in autonomous mobile robotics (localization, navigation, mapping, path planning, 2D/3D perception, behavior planning) and much more. To fall back on You have experience with communication technology (Ethernet and CAN bus) as well as 3D CAD such as Unigraphics You have strong communication skills, are flexible and resilient, enjoy working in a global, intercultural team, have an independent, analytical working style and have good comprehension skills
