Systems Engineer

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Systems Engineer to join the IT team and ensure the reliability, security, and efficiency of the IT systems. The Systems Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the IT infrastructure of the hotel. This role involves managing servers, networks, and software systems, ensuring they operate smoothly and securely. The Systems Engineer will work closely with other IT professionals and departments to support the hotel's operations and enhance the guest experience through reliable technology solutions., + System Administration: o Manage and maintain the hotel's servers, network infrastructure, and other IT systems. o Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal operation. o Implement and oversee backup and disaster recovery solutions to protect data integrity.

• Network Management: o Design, install, and configure network hardware and software to meet the hotel's needs. o Monitor network performance and security, addressing any vulnerabilities or breaches promptly. o Manage the guest Wi-Fi system to ensure reliable and high-speed internet access.

• Security & Compliance: o Implement and maintain security measures to protect the hotel's IT infrastructure from cyber threats. o Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations regarding data protection and privacy. o Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments.

• Support & Troubleshooting: o Provide technical support to hotel staff for IT-related issues and ensure timely resolution. o Assist with the setup and maintenance of IT equipment in guest rooms and public areas. o Collaborate with vendors and service providers to resolve hardware and software issues.

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in systems engineering or a similar role, preferably in the hospitality sector.
• Strong knowledge of server and network infrastructure, including Windows and Linux servers, LAN/WAN, and VPN.
• Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V) and cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure).
• Proficiency in scripting and automation (e.g., PowerShell, Python) to streamline IT processes.
• Solid understanding of cybersecurity principles and practices.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
