Roleactivities

• As a memberof ASML's Machine Control department's data-driven developmentgroups, you will play a crucial role in developing and constructingsoftware solutions that enable our lithographic machines to operatewith high productivity and nanometer accuracy. You will also ensurethat system interfaces adhere to industrystandards.
• ASML recognizes the importance ofsoftware as an integrating competency, and you will be involved inall stages of the software development process, includingspecification, design, qualification, and integration into ourindustry-leading products. As a senior software design engineer,you will be responsible for defining requirements, making efficientdesign decisions, implementing designs, and verifying theirimplementation.
• Additionally, you will estimatethe effort required for each task, identify dependencies on otherteam members, and collaborate with your SAFe/Agile team to scheduleyour activities and agree on delivery deadlines for requiredspecifications. The software you deliver will be thoroughlydocumented and qualified using automated testcases.

Functie-eisen

• You should have proven proficiency inprogramming languages such as QT, C, C++, object-orientedprogramming, Unix/Linux, Solaris, Python, and softwareconfiguration management tools like ClearCase andGIT.
• You should have completed a Bachelor's orMaster's degree in Computer Science or a related technicalfield.
• You should have experience working in aSAFe or Agile team environment and implementing leanpractices.
• Experience with QT, code generation,factory automation-related data and control protocols (SECS, EDA,etc.), data management, and security isadvantageous.
• You should have at least 8 yearsof experience working in a high-techenvironment.
