Here at Fashion Cloud we are transforming the fashion industry and supporting our customers through our solid base of software products. We are seeking a software engineer to help us grow and maintain our web platform.
About the job
Join our dynamic and innovative team as a Backend Developer, where you'll play a pivotal role in solving our customers' complex problems. You'll embark on six-week development cycles, showcasing your creativity and technical expertise in an environment that values autonomy and forward-thinking.
Key Responsibilities:
- Feature Development: From planning to production, you'll be hands-on in creating features and enhancements that make a real difference.
- Data Management: Focus on handling the vast amount of data we import daily, using our in-house tools to seamlessly transform semi-structured data for our platform.
- Tech Stack Proficiency: Utilize Node.js for backend operations, leverage the Express web framework, and manage data with PostgreSQL. Enhance our small, internal React application.
- Cloud and Serverless Expertise: Operate within an AWS environment, linking services through message queues. Write clean, maintainable code in TypeScript and ES6 and control our Serverless solutions.
About you
We are looking for experienced backend engineers passionate about web technologies who feelcomfortable designing and writing Typescript code running on AWS.
We are fervent believers in design, so you should be able to design service interfaces and datastructures even before coding the endpoint path.

We are currently looking for a person who will join us in our office in Amsterdam. We are a highlyinternational team so you will have to speak English fluently.
