Fullstack Java Developer

As a Fullstack Java Developer, you will play a crucial role in the System Operations department. Collaborating closely with other skilled developers within the CIW team, you'll deliver new functionalities and ensure our applications' optimal performance. Supported by a robust digital infrastructure, our software architects, and a dedicated Scrum team including a Product Owner and Scrum Master, you will contribute to applications that optimize electricity grid usage, improve energy distribution, and facilitate the transition to sustainable energy sources. • Developing and maintaining scalable Java and Kotlin backend applications, alongside Angular frontend applications, to support our smart grid solutions.

• Engaging in DevOps practices, including monitoring, maintenance, and direct stakeholder communication, ensuring the reliability and performance of our systems.

• Participating in technical refinements, knowledge sharing, and collaboration with stakeholders to continuously improve our applications and processes. We are particularly looking for someone with:

• A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Java or Kotlin developer, with a strong background in Spring and experience in frontend development using JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and Angular.

• A Bachelor's degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or a related field.

• Experience in software engineering practices including DevOps, design patterns, testing, and continuous integration/deployment. Better organised for you Based on a 38-hour working week, you will receive:

• A gross monthly salary of € 4.274 to € 7.079;

• An Individual Choice Budget (IKB) of 18% of your gross annual salary. You can use your personal budget for purchasing extra days off or have it paid every month as extra salary. In December you'll receive an end-of-year bonus of 5.94% of your gross annual salary.

• The possibility to work from home or the offices in Arnhem or Amsterdam;
