Senior Backend Engineer

Your Tasks

• Collaborate effectively with our agile development team to develop and improve the Drupal 10 Content Management System and REST API.

• Expand the functionality of our platform by developing innovative microservices and modernizing existing systems to a future-proof architecture and repository.

• Estimate and translate user stories into technical subtasks.

• Conduct Unit testing, integration testing and participate in code reviews with the help of continuous integration/delivery process.

• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code using OOP, SOLID principles, and industry-standard design patterns.

• Stay updated with the latest technologies and suggest improvements that align with the platform's vision. Your Profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related fields.

• 4+ years of experience in PHP development with a strong understanding of Symfony components and MySQL.

• Experience working with Docker, Kubernetes, and GIT version control systems.

• Excitement to expand your skills and learn other technoligies such as GraphQL and Typescript is a pre.

• Strong knowledge of TDD (Test Driven Development) and DDD (Domain Driven Design) principles.

• Skillful in building scalable, high-performing, secure, and fault-tolerant REST APIs.

• Ability to work collaboratively and quickly in a team environment with a strong understanding of Agile methodologies and Scrum processes.

• Excellent communication skills in Dutch and/or English.
