Senior QA Tester

We are IT Recruitment Specialists partnered with a massive Global Consultancy who require a Senior QA Tester for one of their Public sector Clients. This will be a 3 month contract based in Southend.

• 3+ years' experience in BDD/TDD frame works
• Have strong skills in test automation tools (BDD tools sets)
• and experience in using them within a Java development/test environment.
• At least 3 years' experience in J2SE 8 or 11 Spring Microservices testing.
• The individuals will be solely dedicated to non-functional enhancements of applications. Hence the Devs and Testers will need to demonstrate experience on NFRs/Non-functional Requirements.
• The intention is to run performance engineering alongside functional development so people with performance/tuning/Real Time experience will be useful

Tasks:

• Have testing experience within AWS environments
• Has experience in Integration testing however performance testing along with
• PVT tools would be advantageous.
• Running tests, collecting and recording results and then retesting to prove that
• errors identified have been corrected
• Providing regular status reports to the test manager as well as identifying and
• raising project risks and issues

Tech:

• UNIX
• Have strong skills in test automation tools (BDD tools sets) and
• experience in using them with a Java development/test environment
• Oracle SQL
• BDD/TDD Experience within AWS environments.
• SoapUI
• At least 3 years' experience in J2SE 8 or 11 & Spring boot 2 Microservices
• testing.
• HermesJMS
• RestAssured
• ReadyAPI

Skills:

• ISEB/ISTQB Foundation or equivalent
• Experience in integration testing and performance and tools eg
• Selenium would be advantageous.
