Job description

We are IT Recruitment Specialists partnered with a World Renowned Global Consultancy who require a UI Developer (React) for one of their clients in the banking sector. This will be a 6-month contract based in Northampton.

What will you be doing?

Collaborate and communicate with other developers to build technical solutions
Collaborate and communicate with design & UX teams, to understand experience and brand
Support technical decision making, that requires a good understanding of the problem domains
Promote & drive innovation by actively advocating new tools, processes and technical developments to drive continuous improvement.
Maintain an in-depth understanding of relevant and up to date knowledge of applications and techniques.

Requirements

Good understanding of End-to-end software development lifecycle, with working knowledge of Agile Software development techniques
Good understanding of OO Programming, Functional Programming, Design and associated concepts. Coupled with strong experience of JavaScript & frameworks / libraries (e.g. Angular x, React), Node.js
Responsive development with CSS & CSS pre-processors
Version Control Software & code management Skills That Will Help You In The Role
Industry experience in Test Driven Development with UI e2e testing, and build tools
Experience building to Accessibility Standards (WCAG)
Understanding of CI / DevOps
Understanding state management (Redux).
