Manufacturing Test Engineer

Working with design, operations, and project teams, you'll ensure robust testing from concept through to operational release, troubleshooting failures and driving technical excellence across development and production. What you will be doing Providing test engineering support from design concept through Production Readiness Review. Supporting test facility introduction with configuration control, specifications, and operator instructions. Testing electrical/electronic weapon systems, sub-assemblies, and circuit cards, diagnosing failures to component level. Identifying remedial actions and collaborating with stakeholders to resolve technical challenges. Guiding and mentoring junior engineers while delivering against project timelines. What we are looking for HNC/HND or degree in a relevant subject, plus experience in digital, analogue, and RF electronics manufacture/test. Strong understanding of electrical/electronic/RF measurement principles, test equipment, and systems-level functional testing. Experience across the product development lifecycle in electronics manufacturing, ideally defence-related. Proficiency with manual and automated test equipment, plus ability to prioritise multiple tasks. Excellent verbal/written communication for reports, instructions, and team collaboration. Experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment would be advantageous. What's on offer Salary £40,000 - £50,000 depending on experience. Annual company bonus up to £2,500.
