We are seeking a highly skilled SME Mortgage to serve as a trusted advisor for prospects, customers, and partners within the UK mortgage and lending ecosystem. This hybrid role bridges pre-sales, solution consulting, and delivery, ensuring that clients fully leverage the power of the FintechOS platform to build innovative, digital-first lending experiences., Advisory & Pre-Sales Engagement
- Act as a trusted advisor to prospects and newly onboarded customers, illustrating how FintechOS can transform their lending operations into modern, digital-first businesses.
- Support pre-sales teams by architecting, engineering, and demonstrating tailored mortgage and lending solutions.
- Engage credibly with stakeholders at all levels, from engineers to executives, ensuring alignment and clarity on solution direction.
- Proactively address concerns, mitigate risks, and represent FintechOS technology with confidence and professionalism.
- Collaborate with product specialists and ecosystem partners to craft competitive solutions aligned with regional and market-specific UK mortgage needs.
Solution Consulting & Delivery
- Lead requirements elicitation sessions and discovery workshops to capture functional, non-functional, and technical specifications.
- Translate business requirements into solution designs leveraging the FintechOS platform, defining data flows, integrations, and architecture components.
- Perform Gap Analysis to determine what can be achieved through configuration versus extension or customization.
- Document solution specifications clearly for development teams and provide continuous functional guidance throughout the delivery lifecycle.
- Participate in and/or lead testing, training, and knowledge-transfer activities to foster client and partner self-sufficiency.
- Triage issues and change requests, driving the resolution process while supporting all delivery project stakeholders.
- Deliver onsite and online training-standard or customized-to both customers and FintechOS partners.
- Contribute to internal methodologies, frameworks, best practices, and expert content relevant to mortgage and lending solutions.
- Coach and mentor new colleagues, contributing to onboarding and capability-building initiatives.
- Provide continuous feedback to Product teams to shape future improvements to the FintechOS platform.
Cross-Team Collaboration
- Work as a bridge between Delivery, Technology, and Pre-Sales teams to ensure a consistent, high-quality customer journey from initial engagement through ongoing adoption.
- Support Customer Success and Partner Success teams by addressing technical queries, providing recommendations, and advising on solution approaches.

Requirements
Technical Expertise
- Several years of experience with API-driven architectures.
- Hands-on engineering capability, including the ability to prototype solutions and contribute code or configuration to accelerate customer value.
- Strong understanding of traditional enterprise architecture within financial institutions, paired with advocacy for modern, digital-first approaches.
- Deep knowledge of cloud-native, service-oriented, and event-driven architectures, including security and compliance considerations.
- Proven ability to define and document data exchanges and integrations with third-party systems.
Domain & Consulting Skills
- Mandatory UK mortgage experience with a strong understanding of end-to-end lending processes (originations, underwriting, servicing, compliance, affordability, KYC/AML, broker/packager journeys, etc.).
- Experience engaging confidently with customers and prospects in consultative, technical, and sometimes critical client-facing situations.
- Strong facilitation skills for workshops, discovery sessions, and cross-functional meetings.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work autonomously while thriving in a collaborative team environment.
- Ability to create clear functional and non-functional specifications and translate business needs into actionable technical solutions.
