Job description
To carry out comprehensive Security and Safety duties, to ensure a safe environment for staff, customers, contractors, and visitors.
The Security Office role involves working permanent days, permanent nights and a mixture of days and nights when required.
Security:
-
Handles complaints, investigates and processes written reports on customer or employee injuries, thefts, assaults, vandalism and other relevant security incidents.

Assist security team members in the apprehension of shoplifters in accordance with the Liberty policy and procedures
-
To use and be fully conversant with the related software systems including CCTV, access control, intruder alarm, fire system and any IT security equipment.

To ensure that all customers, visitors, contractors, and staff feel safe at all times by showing a confident positive attitude towards your role.

Deal with retail departmental queries related to security, and encourage departments to be security aware.

Deal with all customers/visitors, staff and colleagues in a polite and courteous manner.

Ensure completion of relevant procedures regarding store opening and closing duties.
Safety:

To maintain the Health, Safety and Welfare of both Staff and Customers alike.

Comply with and implement Emergency Procedures when required

Respond in a professional manner to any first aid incidents and complete reports as required
Cash Office:

Open Cash Office and distribute cash bags

E-mail daily reports for Sales Managers outlining cash discrepancies.
