MES Infrastructure & IT Operations Stream Lead12-MONTH CONTRACT | REMOTE/HYBRID | INSIDE IR35Role SummaryWe are seeking an experienced MES Infrastructure & IT Operations Stream Lead to oversee the planning, coordination, and delivery of IT infrastructure components supporting the deployment of MES (Delmia Apriso) across multiple manufacturing sites. Acting as the key interface between project objectives and technical teams, you will ensure alignment with corporate standards and project timelines.This role focuses on network architecture, cloud/on-premises integration, and creating secure, scalable environments for MES hosting. Secondary responsibilities include managing end-user device deployment (laptops, tablets, printers, scanners) to support MES operations.Key ResponsibilitiesNetwork Architecture & OperationsLead implementation of network infrastructure (LAN/WAN, VLANs, segmentation) across manufacturing sites.Oversee installation/configuration of network switches, racks, cabling

and connectivity.Ensure resilience, performance monitoring, and troubleshooting standards.Cloud & On-Premises InfrastructureManage setup of environments for MES hosting (Azure or equivalent cloud; physical data center).Ensure compliance with IT standards, security policies, and regulatory requirements.Implement backup, disaster recovery, and high-availability strategies.Integration & ConnectivityValidate connectivity between MES systems, shop-floor devices, and corporate IT systems.Collaborate with automation and process teams for seamless integration.Governance & DocumentationMaintain infrastructure documentation for audits and compliance.Support IT governance processes and manage risks/issues.Operational ReadinessMonitor infrastructure health and implement proactive maintenance.Provide escalation support during deployments and hypercare phases.Conduct Wi-Fi surveys and coordinate AP implementation.Required Skills & ExperienceTechnical ExpertiseStrong experience in network design and operations (switching, routing, VLANs).Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (Azure preferred) and hybrid architectures.Familiarity with OPC servers, SQL databases, and industrial connectivity is a plus.Project & CommunicationProven ability to lead infrastructure projects in manufacturing or multi-site environments.Excellent communication skills in English and Spanish; ability to work across regions.Certifications (Preferred)PMP, ITIL, CCNA, CompTIA Project+, AWS/Azure certifications, or equivalent.
