Job description
We are looking for someone who can take responsibility for the set up of robust tracking and reporting for clients.
With a background in data and analytics and a minimum of 1 year's experience working on GTM tracking. You will work with our clients, potential clients and our internal teams to help Varn deliver best-in-class data solutions.
The Data & Analytics Executive will support the planning and implementation of tracking, assisting with tracking and reporting strategies and analysing reports to gain actionable insights. In this role, you will work closely with the team to create, edit and troubleshoot tracking set ups, while also helping to monitor and analyse reports, providing clients with actionable insights from your analysis. You'll have the opportunity to contribute ideas, learn from experienced colleagues, and develop your skills in using analytics and data tools.
The role will be supported by two expert Data Managers and senior support by the Search and Innovation Director., Analyse, interpret, and visualise data from multiple sources to provide actionable insights.

Report creation Build and maintain dashboards and reports in Google Looker Studio or other BI tools e.g Power BI, or Tableau (nice to have).

Monitoring Track and measure SEO and paid media performance using GA4, Google Search Console, and other relevant tools.

Tracking set up Implement and audit tracking setups in Google Tag Manager and ensure accurate data collection.

Strategy creation Collaborate with teams to identify data gaps, optimise processes, and recommend strategies.

Data Compliance Ensure compliance with data governance and privacy regulations (GDPR, DMA) including having an up-to-date understanding of compliance requirements and consent mode.

Data Storytelling Translate complex analytics into clear, compelling stories for clients and stakeholders.
Requirements
- Analytics & Reporting: GA4, Google Looker Studio, Power BI, Tableau, Adobe Analytics (nice to have), Google BigQuery (nice to have), sGTM (nice to have)
- SEO & Paid Media Analytics: Google Search Console, Google Ads metrics
- Data Handling & Tools: Google Sheets, Google Slides, Google Tag Manager, Hubspot (nice to have)
- Experience with BigQuery and/or sGTM is a bonus
- Organised and detail-oriented
- Proactive and solution-focused
- Passion for SEO, paid media, and digital marketing analytics
- Strong storytelling skills with data, * You have previous experience in a marketing or SEO agency environment, with an interest or background in tracking and data
- You have experience integrating multiple data sources into dashboards
- You have the ability to identify gaps and optimise client journeys using analytics insights
- You are able to work well under pressure and carefully manage your own time
- You like data, pay close attention to detail, and feel at home analysing data and putting together interesting stories from large data analysis
- You are a friendly, honest and hard-working individual who enjoys working alongside and contributing to a wider team

- Salary of £25k - £31k depending on experience
