Software Engineer | £40k to £60k An early stage, well funded AI startup is transforming one of the most outdated and mission critical industries in the economy. The team is building AI native agentic systems that compress certification and audit timelines from months to days. They are using modern workflows, LLM powered automation and strong engineering practices. After closing an oversubscribed pre seed round, they are now looking for a Junior Full Stack Engineer to join the founding team in Scotland. You will work directly with two experienced technical founders who have deployed enterprise AI systems across many industries. Ship production features in your first week Be involved in designing the company's core AI systems Learn how to create AI systems from first principles rather than only wiring APIs together Building and shipping high velocity full stack features using Python, TypeScript and React Turning messy human knowledge into structured, self improving AI behaviours

Working directly with early design partners to understand how they work and to ship solutions they will actually adopt Using LLM coding tools as genuine development partners for reasoning, scaffolding and accelerating your work An early career engineer with less than two years of experience Strong Computer Science fundamentals, ideally from a strong university or equivalent depth A first principles thinker who enjoys solving difficult problems and is not tied to a single language Languages: Python, TypeScript Front end: React Cloud: AWS AI: LLM tools, agentic systems, workflow automation 40k to £60k salary based on experience ~ The opportunity to build real AI systems that solve real problems ~
