Job description
Investigated and resolved complex cyber incidents, protecting sensitive information and reducing risk.- Developed and tested security policies and procedures to strengthen organisational resilience.- Led forensic investigations into data breaches, providing clear recommendations to prevent future threats.
Youll play a key role in the organisation by:
- Managing security alerts:
Act as the main contact for cyber incidents and queries, ensuring timely and effective responses.- Providing expert advice:
Work with internal teams and external partners to guide decisions on cybersecurity matters.- Improving defences:
Support threat detection, vulnerability remediation, and enhance tools like Microsoft Defender and Sentinel.- Driving governance:
Contribute to creating and maintaining security policies, standards, and reporting.- Collaborating widely:
Work closely with technology teams to reduce risks and improve security practices.- Enhance security measures:
Support threat detection, vulnerability remediation, and continuous improvement of our cyber defence tools and processes., copy and paste AI-generated answers. Requirements
Experience investigating and responding to cybersecurity incidents, including analysis and reporting.- Practical knowledge of Microsoft security tools (e.g., Sentinel, Defender XDR, Azure) and security frameworks or standards.- Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver results in a complex, multi-team environment., your real skills and experience.- Spell-checking and condensing word counts are great ways to use AI effectively.-
