Must Have:

• Experience of using Beowulf clusters
• Excellent knowledge of: Slurm Job Scheduling
• Knowledgeable of Best practices for MPI-optimized container images, including:
• OpenMPI with Apptainer (SIF)
• Podman/Buildah tooling and other alternatives

Desirable:

• The ability to Conduct interviews with the Customer staff covering the following areas:
• Current infrastructure & use cases of HPC.
• Containerisation capabilities workshop and discussion of typical HPC/ML workloads Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including
• Jupyter ecosystem (Hubs/Labs/Notebooks) for Data Scientists workflows
• MPI

Nice to Have knowledge of:

• The ability to collation of findings for presentation in a written report covering:
• Market view of container technologies and options for HPC Use Cases
• Singularity
• SIF format
• HPC Workflows
• Experience in CFD software such as OpenFOAM.
