Job description
- Under the direction of the Data Center Operations Engineering Supervisor, perform preventive and reactive maintenance related to the infrastructure
- Perform daily inspection site rounds
- Utilize the maintenance management system to ensure accuracy of data at all times
- Monitor alarm systems and react to any alarms raised
- Perform small repairs
- Manage sub-contractors and ensure they follow rules set by Equinix
- Perform and follow up visual checks
- On-Call service will be required (1 week/2 month)
- Work in shift rotation
- Understand, apply and enforce health and safety rules
Requirements
Do you have a valid Driver's License Class B license?, Do you have experience in Microsoft Excel?, * Electrical or Mechanical (Plumbing, Air conditioning or similar) Diploma with proven years of experience
- Experience with critical infrastructure
- Be able to perform small repairs (Electrical, mechanical and plumbing)
- Able to read electrical/mechanical drawings
- Familiar with computing/electronics tools to monitor the site (BMS, displays, etc...)
- Familiar with Office Pack (Word, Excel, etc...)
- Good in German and English (written/spoken)
- Being able to communicate in an efficient way, even during stressful situations, to provide clear written reports and establish clear processes
- Flexible (On-Call)
- Driving license
