BI Engineer / BI Developer 80-100% - ArcGIS

To strengthen our existing consulting team, we are seeking a BI Engineer / BI Developer with a strong focus on reporting and dashboarding using ArcGIS. This position is part of an ongoing project to establish a Situation Center for energy-related data. The role is shared with a Data Engineer, who is responsible for the data platform and pipelines. The focus of this role will be on the implementation, further development, and migration of the reporting landscape, particularly during the transition from Tableau to ArcGIS.

Your future tasks:

• Implementation and further development of BI and reporting solutions with ArcGIS
• Migration of existing Tableau dashboards to ArcGIS
• Design and development of business dashboards and reports
• Visualization of energy, weather, and geo-related data in a reporting context
• Close collaboration with the Data Engineer to optimize the use of provided data
• Coordination with specialist departments to gather and implement reporting requirements
• Ensuring the performance, clarity, and maintainability of dashboards
• Active participation in shaping the reporting architecture in the Situation Center

Do you have experience in Tableau?, * Several years of experience as a BI developer or in the field of reporting/dashboarding

• Very good knowledge of ArcGIS (essential)
• Experience in building reports and dashboards
• Experience with geospatial data and ideally weather data in a reporting environment
• Knowledge of Python for data preparation or analysis
• Experience with Tableau is an advantage (especially for migrations)
• Understanding of data models and BI-related data structures
• Experience in the energy, infrastructure, or meteorology sector is an advantage
• Structured, independent, and quality-oriented work style
