Job description
As the Proxy Product Owner for the Supply Chain Data Foundation, you will play a pivotal role in shaping, prioritizing, and delivering data solutions that empower supply chain operations with high-quality, accessible, and trusted data. Acting as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical delivery teams, you'll translate strategic product objectives into actionable backlog items, ensuring that the Data Foundation supports end-to-end supply chain visibility, analytics, and decision-making.
- Product Management & Delivery
- Support the Product Owner in defining and executing the product vision, roadmap, and value delivery for the Supply Chain Data Foundation
- Manage and refine the product backlog; write clear user stories and acceptance criteria
- Ensure alignment of data products with key supply chain domains (planning, procurement, logistics, manufacturing, etc.)
- Act as the main point of contact for development teams, clarifying requirements and priorities during sprints
- Stakeholder Collaboration
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, data owners, and solution architects to capture data needs and translate them into technical requirements
- Facilitate communication between cross-functional teams to ensure timely and aligned delivery
- Contribute to governance and data quality initiatives across the organization
- Data & Technical Enablement
- Work closely with data engineers, data modelers, and analysts to define and maintain high-quality data pipelines, models, and APIs
- Support the definition and implementation of Master Data, Metadata, and Data Quality management frameworks
- Contribute to the evolution of the enterprise data platform to support scalability and advanced analytics use cases (AI/ML, digital twins, predictive planning, etc.)
- Performance & Continuous Improvement
- Track product KPIs, delivery velocity, and business adoption metrics
- Identify opportunities to enhance data availability, consistency, and usability across the supply chain ecosystem
- Support change management, communication, and training efforts for end-users and stakeholders
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Computer Science, or a related field
- 4-8 years of experience in supply chain, data management, or product ownership roles
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
- Background in enterprise data platforms, data lakes, or data warehousing is a strong plus
Technical Skills
- Familiarity with data modeling, data integration, and cloud technologies (Snowflake)
- Understanding of supply chain systems (SAP, Kinaxis Maestro) and data flows
- Experience with Agile tools (Jira)
