As an early team member, you won't just execute tasks - you'll own critical parts of the product and help define how the platform evolves.

Your role

As a Backend Developer at COBACK, you will build the core infrastructure of our GenAI-powered compliance platform. You'll work closely with the engineering team to design robust, high-performance backend systems that scale with our customers.

What awaits you:

• Development and maintenance of RESTful APIs and microservices
• Database design and optimization (PostgreSQL, Redis)
• Integration of AI models into backend systems
• Code reviews and mentoring to maintain high engineering standards
• Real ownership over backend components and architectural decisions

• 3+ years of experience in backend development
• Strong knowledge of Node.js, Python, or Go
• Experience with PostgreSQL and Redis
• Understanding of cloud infrastructures (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes is a plus
• Good English skills (German is a plus)
