Job description
A Cloud Security Engineer to join our team. In this role you will be responsible for designing, implementing and maintaining secure cloud infrastructure and services across the organisation., * Design and implement cloud security architectures and controls across IaaS, PaaS and SaaS environments.
- Work closely with the in-house SOC team to monitor cloud environments for security threats, vulnerabilities and misconfigurations.
- Develop and maintain cloud security policies, standards and procedures, leveraging tools such as Prisma Cloud to automate pipeline security checks.
- Collaborate with DevOps and Infrastructure teams to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines.
- Conduct risk assessments and threat modelling for cloud-based applications and services.
- Manage identity and access management (IAM), encryption and key management systems.
- Respond to and investigate cloud security incidents and breaches.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations, including ISO 27001 and GDPR.

Requirements
Do you have a valid Driving Licence license?, Do you have experience in Cloud security?, The role requires expertise in cloud platforms with a focus on Azure, a solid understanding of security best practices and familiarity with compliance frameworks., * 3+ years of experience in cloud security engineering or a related role.
- Hands-on experience with Azure (primary) and AWS platforms.
- Strong understanding of cloud-native security tools such as Azure Security Center and Prisma Cloud.
- Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools e.g. Terraform and HashiCorp.
- Knowledge of container security, including Docker and Kubernetes.
- Relevant certifications (e.g. CCSP, AWS Certified Security, Specialty, Azure Security Engineer Associate) are desirable.
- Proactive and self-motivated with the ability to take ownership of tasks and projects.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented approach.
- Effective communication skills, the ability to explain complex security issues to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Collaborative mindset, comfortable working closely with cross-functional teams (SOC, DevOps, Infrastructure).
- Adaptable and eager to stay up to date with emerging technologies and security trends.
