Requirements
- Proven experience designing and building enterprise-scale data platforms
- Deep hands-on knowledge of Azure data services including Data Factory, Synapse/SQL, Data Lake/Lakehouse/Fabric and Power BI
- Strong background delivering governed ETL/ELT pipelines using CI/CD and DevOps practices
- Experience setting data architecture, standards and operating models
- Ability to manage suppliers, cloud spend and complex stakeholder environments

About the company
I'm recruiting on behalf of a highly respected environmental research organisation for an Azure Data Platform Lead to take ownership of its enterprise data platform and strategy.
This is a senior role with real purpose, leading how data is engineered, governed and used across science, conservation and corporate functions. You'll provide strategic direction while remaining close enough to the technology to ensure high-quality delivery.
