Job description

OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Systems Integration & Verification Engineer to support a secure technology programme within the defence domain. The successful engineer will have experience across the full systems lifecycle, with a strong emphasis on the right-hand side of the V-Model (Verification, Validation, Qualification & Acceptance)., ResponsibilitiesThe Systems Integration & Verification Engineer will be responsible for:Planning and executing system verification, validation and acceptance activitiesDefining test strategies, verification methods and acceptance criteriaPerforming system integration in secure lab or operational environmentsDeveloping and maintaining test procedures, reports and documentationSupporting defect investigation and traceability processesEngaging with engineering, operations and customer-facing stakeholdersSupporting readiness assessments and acceptance milestonesManaging and operating test environments across networking and infrastructure layersEnsuring conformance to requirements, standards and compliance obligations

Requirements

This position involves hands-on interaction with complex system environments including networking, infrastructure, Unix/Linux and mission-critical integration platforms.Due to the sensitive and secure nature of the work, as well as the requirement to operate and integrate directly with physical systems and secure infrastructure, this role requires the engineer to be onsite 5 days per week.
