Head of Technology

As Head of Technology, you will be responsible for defining and executing the technical vision across the business. You will lead multidisciplinary technology teams, set standards for quality and security, and work closely with senior stakeholders to ensure technology enables long-term growth and innovation. This is a hands-on leadership role combining strategic thinking with practical execution in a fast-moving, international environment.

What you'll be doing:

• Lead, mentor, and develop interdisciplinary technology and engineering teams
• Define and evolve the overall technology strategy to support immersive XR products and platforms
• Evaluate, select, and introduce new technologies and tools to ensure systems are scalable, performant, and future-ready
• Establish and maintain high standards for quality, security, reliability, and productivity across development and operations
• Partner closely with senior leadership and key stakeholders to deliver business objectives through technology
• Build and manage external technology partnerships and stay informed on market and technology trends
• Own project planning, budgeting, and resource allocation within the technology function

• Degree in computer science, engineering, or a comparable technical discipline
• Several years of leadership experience in a technically complex environment, ideally within XR, VR, AR, gaming, simulation, or related fields
• Strong technical understanding of software and hardware architectures, infrastructure, and cloud-based systems
• Proven experience building, scaling, and improving development, operations, and quality practices
• Strategic mindset with the ability to translate vision into hands-on execution
• Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills in an international context
