Job description
My client, a London-based architecture studio, is seeking a technically skilled Architect, Senior Architect, or Associate Architect with a specialism in façade design and remedial projects to join their growing team. This is a hands-on role offering the opportunity to work across residential façade remediation, office retrofits, and master-planning schemes, taking projects from concept through to construction and completion.
The Role

Lead and contribute to technical design and delivery of façade remedial projects, including fire-safety compliance initiatives

Support and deliver new build, office retrofit, and master-planning schemes up to RIBA Stage 3-6

Coordinate and manage consultants, contractors, and project documentation

Act as or support the Building Regulations Principal Designer

Mentor junior team members and foster knowledge sharing across the studio

Ensure projects meet UK Building Regulations, CDM requirements, and high technical standards
Requirements

ARB-registered Architect with 5-10 years' post-Part 2 experience (ideally 5+ post-Part 3)

Proven expertise in façade remediation, retrofit, and technical detailing

Strong understanding of UK Building Regulations, fire safety, and CDM duties

Experience acting as or supporting a Principal Designer desirable

Proficient in CAD, with BIM/Revit experience preferred

Excellent communicator, confident with clients, consultants, and contractors

Highly organised, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple projects and teams
