Job description

We are seeking a Solutions Engineer to deploy the driveblocks off-road autonomy stack to target compute systems and vehicles. A core responsibility of this role is to apply, monitor, and benchmark the driveblocks software in customer and internal vehicle platforms to achieve maximum performance.

As a solution engineer, you are responsible for the full journey of our customers - from drafting the first technical concept to configuring, testing and deploying the software. You ensure that the driveblocks software meets the application requirements in an embedded, real time-critical environment. You ensure high performance and quality through system simulations and software component testing on-site under real-world conditions.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Linux?, Do you have a Master's degree?, * Hands-on expertise in autonomous vehicles, robotics, or real-time embedded systems, with strong coding skills in C and C++.

  • Experience with dockerized deployments and Linux-based operating systems.
  • Strong analytical skills to quickly understand customer requirements, debug application software, and familiarize with new vehicle and deployment platforms.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment with complex technical challenges and requirements.
  • Strong team-player and the ability to communicate complex technology in a clear and straight-forward way to match customer and project expectations.
  • Willingness to travel on short notice to support customer pilots and deployments.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications

  • Familiarity with ROS2, Apex.Grace, or micro-ROS.
  • Familiarity with edge accelerators.
  • Experience with modern software engineering tools, including version control, continuous integration and testing as well as cloud-based development processes.
  • Degree in computer science, informatics, engineering or related (Bachelor, Master, or PhD).
