Senior/Lead PHP Developer

You'll lead the design of scalable backend systems, enhance CI/CD pipelines, and mentor developers. With many of our projects focused on financial integrations, APIs, and automation, your work will directly impact critical systems for clients like De KoffieJongens and Factuurportal. We also run our deployments on a Kubernetes cluster, where your infrastructure knowledge will be vital.

Additionally, we're exploring how AI tools can elevate our development workflows-and you'll have the chance to lead and shape this transformation.

What You'll Lead:

• Architect and implement complex backend solutions using Laravel
• Build secure, high-performance systems for fintech data flows and APIs
• Take ownership of CI/CD pipelines and testing strategies
• Manage deployments within our Kubernetes infrastructure
• Mentor and support fellow developers
• Explore AI tooling to enhance software development processes
• Collaborate directly with clients to understand and solve technical challenges

• You must already live in the Netherlands
• You must have a valid work permit that is not tied to your current employer (we do not provide visa sponsorship)
• You should be comfortable commuting to our office at least 3 days a week, These are the skills we're looking for:
• Strong expertise in Laravel and backend architecture
• Deep understanding of SOLID principles and testing strategies
• Proficiency in unit testing and test-driven development
• Proficient with Git, Composer, and Docker
• Experience with (REST) APIs, especially in fintech or data-driven environments
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes
• Familiarity or interest in using AI for software development
• Fluent, professional-level English communication skills
