Job description
We are seeking an energetic IT Support Engineer to join our IT & Security team. You will be the frontline technical resource for users, managing day-to-day IT support, access provisioning, and onboarding/offboarding. You'll work with modern cloud technologies, support diverse teams across multiple locations, and participate in IT and security projects. Eindhoven-based candidates may also provide local on-site support for office infrastructure. This role suits someone curious, communicative, and positive, who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Key responsibilities User Support & Troubleshooting
- Provide 1st and 2nd line support for hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
- Support Windows, MacOS, Microsoft 365 applications, VPN, and authentication problems.
- Respond to user inquiries via email, chat, phone, or in-person.
Access Management & Provisioning
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and groups in Microsoft EntraID.
- Process access requests, password resets, and account unlocks.
- Ensure access compliance with security policies.
Onboarding & Offboarding
- Coordinate IT onboarding/offboarding (account setup, hardware, access, asset recovery).
- Conduct IT orientation sessions and maintain documentation of procedures.
Device & Asset Management
- Manage device lifecycle using Microsoft InTune and track IT assets.
- Coordinate hardware repairs/replacements and support mobile device management.
Projects & Infrastructure Support
- Participate in IT and security projects, implementing system improvements and new technologies.
- Document procedures, create knowledge base articles, and assist with testing and rollout of new tools.
Local Infrastructure Support (Eindhoven-based)
- Provide on-site support for employees and office infrastructure.
- Maintain WiFi, basic networking, printing services, and meeting room technology.
- Serve as local point of contact for facilities and vendors.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in IT or Computer Science, * Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 2-5 years of hands-on IT support, helpdesk, or similar experience.
- Experience with end-user support, troubleshooting, Microsoft 365, Windows environments, and ticketing systems.
- Strong problem-solving, organization, and communication skills.
- Fluent in English.
- Based in/near Eindhoven.
Preferred
- Linux experience (Ubuntu, CentOS, Red Hat) and basic scripting (PowerShell, Bash, Python).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS), Jira/Confluence, and ITIL Foundation.
- Knowledge of security best practices, startup/tech environment experience.
