Job description
As Service Desk Agent your duties will include:
- Provide excellent customer support responding to incidents & requests via telephone, email, and the company ticketing system.
- Create and handle service desk tickets through to escalation or resolution.
- Telephony call workflow, ensuring calls are answered and routed efficiently.
- Undertake scheduled daily tasks.
- Check monitoring systems for incidents and warning, action or escalate as required.
- Communicate to customers, the team and business when changes and updates occur.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Telephony?, * Adaptive communication skills to best support customer needs.
- An ability to communicate clearly and effectively on multiple channels.
- The ability to work well as part of a team and build effective relationships.
- Time and task management skills
- An ability to liaise with technical experts.
- An ability to troubleshoot and problem solve technical problems.
- A passion for the IT industry and a desire to learn from technical experts.
Required skills, knowledge, experience and/or qualifications include:
- Good clear telephony manner - (Essential)
- Use of incident or ticket management systems - (Desirable)
- Good written communication skills - (Essential)
- Desktop IT knowledge - (Desirable)
- Basic Networking knowledge (Desirable)
- This is a site-based role as such applicants should be able to commute to our head office in Preston, PR4 0HF - (Essential), * Will you be able to reliably commute to attend work on a daily basis to our head office addesss, Infinium IT, Bartle Court Business Village, PR4 0HF for this job?, * Technical help desk / support: 1 year (preferred)
- Telephone Customer Service: 1 year (preferred)
- IT / WiFi troubleshooting: 1 year (preferred)
