You will work on the HPC Research Platform, building and evolving an in-house research platform that provides efficient, secure access to compute and data for research teams across the organisation. The focus is on enabling the execution of large-scale compute pipelines by developing the services and tools that underpin job submission, scheduling, security, and observability across a range of environments. You will collaborate closely with, You will design and develop libraries, APIs, services, and systems to meet the compute demands of quantitative researchers. Your future role within QRT Design and develop libraries, APIs, services, and systems to meet the compute demands of quantitative researchers across the company Implement and design software to facilitate an orchestration-driven approach to managing massive compute clusters Collaborate with quantitative researchers and cross-functional teams to deliver a secure, integrated platform for compute access Exposure to the design and implementation of HPC research tooling on state-of-the-art infrastructure Your Present Skillset BSc/MEng/PhD in Computer Science or equivalent with 5+ years software development experience 2+ years development experience with Python and interest in the Go programming language (Required) Proven expertise in the design and development of large-scale distributed systems (Preferred) Previous experience in quantitative finance working with researchers Flexible in adopting new technologies and a proactive approach to continuous skill development Strong communication and interpersonal skills QRT is an equal opportunity employer.
