Zebra Professional Services team has a great new opportunity for Systems Integration Engineer to join our diverse international team. This role will involve travel to customer sites across UK as well as required attendance to our Bourne End office, and opportunity to work from home.
In this exciting role with Zebra Professional Services, you will be responsible for the systems integration project lifecycle, from initial analysis and design to final implementation. You will craft and present technical solutions to clients, create essential project documentation, and act as the key technical escalation point for our Field Engineers working on large-scale solution deployments. Responsibilities:
- Completing all phases of systems integration design projects.
- Delivering and implementing our solution and services within the project scope and deliverables.
- Supporting, identifying and raising Change requests.
- Support in LOE creation
- Supporting and contributing into SOW documentation, reviewing with our internal Legal team
- Analyzing best approach to solving systems, applications, or process design problems (innovation vs. re-use) including best fit solution to customer requirements.
- Documenting and presenting to clients on technical solutions/designs.
- Providing support to Field Engineers working on device integration on customer site, deals with escalations.
- Creating and providing technical documentation that explains upcoming or existing integrations to non-technical individuals.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Windows?, * 2+ years of engineering experience, or engineering educational background
- Knowledge of MDM, Android devices
- Basic software development and networking knowledge
- Field engineering experience from client facing role is a must
- Knowledge of RFID and UWB is a plus
- Excellent communications skills, ability to deal with external clients
- Ability to work on complex projects with minimal supervision
- Ability to travel across UK and work occasional night shifts as and when the project needs
Advantages:
