Job description

We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Software Developer to join a mature engineering function where quality, reliability, and long-term thinking are genuinely valued. You will work alongside experienced engineers, product specialists, and stakeholders to design and deliver software solutions that support both current business needs and future growth.   • Lead and contribute to system architecture, design reviews, and technical decision-making
  • Write clean, secure, and maintainable code with a strong focus on performance and reliability
  • Conduct thorough code reviews and promote best engineering practices
  • Collaborate closely with product, QA, and business stakeholders to deliver effective solutions
  • Identify, diagnose, and resolve complex technical issues
  • Improve development processes, tooling, and documentation
  • Support and mentor junior and mid-level developers
  • Contribute to long-term technical roadmaps and platform evolution

Requirements

Do you have experience in Software development?, * Significant commercial experience in software development

  • Strong expertise in one or more modern programming languages and frameworks
  • Proven experience designing and maintaining complex systems and applications
  • Solid understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and system scalability
  • Experience working with databases, APIs, and cloud-based environments
  • Strong knowledge of testing, version control, and CI/CD pipelines
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and professionally

Desirable Experience

  • Experience in a senior or technical leadership role
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and infrastructure automation
  • Experience improving performance, security, and system resilience
  • Background working in agile or iterative development environments
